The excitement is building! Took this picture last night, and one can feel the energy in the air. I saw the new Loyola Avenue Streetcars running and lots of media with cameras.
New Orleans is looking goooooood!

This year I really am not interested in the Super Bowl. If my Giants were in it I would be…..
Love the Giants, and would have loved Eli to be playing in the Dome!
Nice! Hope you have a blast BSL.
Thank you, MP! Wish you and a lot of the SH peeps were here to enjoy the frenzy. Hopefully, lots of people are letting loose, but not too loose, and enjoying themselves. I was laughing at a local story that the strip clubs are over-hiring and strippers from all over are flocking down here for a couple of weeks. At the same time, there’s a Family Gras event in the suburbs that has music and fun for families. There really is something for everyone going on at the moment.
Invasion of the strippers.Too funny. Well lets just hope they are not scraping the bottom of the barrel like that club featured on RHOA. bahahahaha. New Orleans is def on my bucket list.
Oh dear, I hope the strippers don’t stumble on over to the FamilyGras by mistake!
That would be awkward …
Hahaha! That would be disastrous! Where is Chris Hansen and his “To Catch a Predator” when we need him?
Have fun BSL! Your city has got to be amazing right about now. Enjoy everything and let us know all the details
I hope they do the spoof again. It’s a lot going on with Mardi Gras on Feb. 12th, the parades will be going on before and after. There’s a new streetcar line that debuted yesterday that is in the area of the Superdome, so a lot of stuff is coming together at the same time.
It must have been so nice to have the mild weather last year, much like we’re experiencing right now. It gives people a chance to get out and enjoy the festivities that go on around the game, even if they don’t have tickets.
Yes! I’m living below sea level.
I live in the city, in the uptown area bordering on downtown, so I’m out and about a good bit.
Sorry, but no answers for those sorts of questions.
Are you in this general area of the country?
No worries at all. Glad you stop by. I’m hoping to be able to write more soon once a big project finishes. Get some sleep!
That does sound dreadful having two places, and two cities/towns to try to have some down time. Again, thank you for stopping by and commenting!
