Every Christmas Eve, Phil Johnson, the late editorialist/news director of a local news channel, would retell the O. Henry short story, The Gift of the Magi during his editorial. Thank you for the lovely wishes and I wish the same for you. As a kid, I would always stop and listen to this, and it just isn’t Christmas without hearing him retell the story in his voice.
