Hello! I’ve gone missing for a bit. I have been trying to get moving more physically, plus finally moving forward again with some big projects at home.
Plenty of people are coming to New Orleans as the weather begins to cool off, and the social season is a flurry of activity.
Voodoo Music + Art Experience is around the corner. Camping will be available this year for the first time!

Voodoo Music & Art Experience… Have I ever told you about Voodoo Man? No? We met him the last time we were in New Orleans. I’m not quite sure if his mama gave him that name, but it’s what he looked like! Do they have gift cards for those voodoo stores there? If so, it was as if he had a big balance on his and spent all of it in one trip. He was decked out. Face painted lika skeleton. The whole nine yards. We saw him on Bourbon St and my son just thought Voodoo man was the coolest and took a pic with him. He was very nice. He even let my son hold his skull prop thingy from the voodoo store for a great photo op. have you seen this guy? Tell him hello if you do! Nice guy…

One day I must see the picture! I wouldn’t be surprised that if you come back in a couple years, he’ll still be in the same spot looking the same.
