This is a quickie post, yes it is, but there’s nothing simple about Sister Rosetta Tharpe, whose talent is divine and eternal. If you have never heard of her, then you have been missing something really wonderful and spiritual from your life.
I first became aware of Sister Rosetta from The Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis, Tennessee, at the former location of Stax Records. If you’ve never heard of Stax Records, well, this post might be a disappointment to you. May you find yourself clapping your hands together and lifted up off of your feet. It is my sincere hope that you get as much enjoyment out of watching this video as I do and will find yourself wanting to listen to more of Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Thanks for posting, BSL. I had never heard of Sister Rosessta Tharpe. She definitely is making a joyful noise unto the Lord. I love gospel music. It stirs the spirit , brings joy to the heart and praise to the Lord like no other.
